A long time ago in my teenage-girl dreams, I was sure that good mothering meant dressing my kids in cute OshGosh overalls, keeping their noses and faces pristine, and being essentially adored.
Several decades and nine beautiful babies later, I’m convinced that mothering means giving the best I have to offer of heart, mind, faith, energy and soul to my family, both spouse and children. Growing and preserving heart, mind, faith, energy, and soul is a serious part of my mother-work.
This blog is my way of noticing (and sharing) the journey as it happens. Your company along the way is a welcome gift.
Here’s to loving it while we live it,
Heather
